{ Foggy Fun }

After two reschedules I was very excited to finally meet this family of three at Laguna Gloria on the shores of Lake Austin. It was a very foggy morning and wondered again if we would have to reschedule but by the time our session time rolled around the weather had cleared a little bit. Their daughter, Celia, is seven months old and oh so precious! This has to be one of the nicest, sweetest families I have had the pleasure of working with. The absolute love for their daughter was evident the whole time. I had so much fun!

Yesterday I met this awesome family of four in Lake Creek Park in Round Rock and took some really fun shots along the creek and train tracks. Mom had her heart set on getting some portraits taken on the train tracks and even though the sun had other plans, we were able to get some really good ones!

The title says it all…literally! This family was so natural in front of the camera and they made my job easy! We had to deal with a very windy afternoon and lots of hair fixes but we made it through and got some wonderful family shots.

Perfect weather and a perfect family…what more could a photographer ask for? I had so much fun with this awesome family of four. They were so relaxed and easy going, you would have never thought this was their first time getting portraits made. And Mayfield Park was so beautiful, as always!

This beautiful family of three braved the cold temperature and wind today for their session at Old Settlers Park. Runny noses and frozen hands aside, we got some really great shots! By the looks of their warm smiles, you would never know it was so cold outside.

I met this awesome, fun loving family in downtown Round Rock for their session. They are so photogenic and complete naturals when it comes to getting their pictures taken. Thanks to my sister who came along to see how it’s all done and acted as my faithful assistant carrying my camera bag and getting a smile out of Miss T!

This morning I met up with this cute family at Mayfield Park. I am so glad the weather held out, we had already rescheduled once! It was overcast and a bit foggy but that didn’t stop us from getting some great shots.

I photographed this sweet family last summer and a lot has changed for them since I saw them last – a move back home from Germany and a brand new baby boy! I really enjoyed seeing them again and spending a nice afternoon at Old Settler’s Park.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family of three. It was their first time getting family portraits made and I was so thrilled for them! This sweet little boy, who turns 1 tomorrow, was very squirmy and I didn’t think we would ever get a smile out of him, but once we did he really performed. Mom and Dad were so patient and in the end we got some really great shots.

I had a wonderful time with this family this morning during their session. Dad returned just seven days ago from an 8 month deployment to Iraq. They are based in Germany but Mom and son came here to be with her family while he was deployed. You could just see the love that these two parents have for each other and their son. I am humbled thinking about the sacrifices that they and all military families make for our freedom.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding vow renewal ceremony for the Mr. and Mrs. “G”. I enjoyed meeting everyone and their sons were just too cute in their little suits! The ceremony took place at the gorgeous St. Williams Catholic Church here in Round Rock. Afterward, we headed down to the popular spot along Brushy Creek to do some family portraits. It was so hot out but everyone did great and soldiered through. It was so neat to be a witness to a beautiful renewal of love, faith and commitment.
