Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family and their two sweet little dogs. They were so patient even though it was hot, humid and windy outside! Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family of three. It was their first time getting family portraits made and I was so thrilled for them! This sweet little boy, who turns 1 tomorrow, was very squirmy and I didn’t think we would ever get a smile out of him, but once we did he really performed. Mom and Dad were so patient and in the end we got some really great shots.

I had a wonderful time with this family this morning during their session. Dad returned just seven days ago from an 8 month deployment to Iraq. They are based in Germany but Mom and son came here to be with her family while he was deployed. You could just see the love that these two parents have for each other and their son. I am humbled thinking about the sacrifices that they and all military families make for our freedom.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding vow renewal ceremony for the Mr. and Mrs. “G”. I enjoyed meeting everyone and their sons were just too cute in their little suits! The ceremony took place at the gorgeous St. Williams Catholic Church here in Round Rock. Afterward, we headed down to the popular spot along Brushy Creek to do some family portraits. It was so hot out but everyone did great and soldiered through. It was so neat to be a witness to a beautiful renewal of love, faith and commitment.

Yesterday I did a family session with Miss “K” (see previous post), her Dad and brother. They were so much fun and all three of them were such naturals in front of the camera. We did the session along the banks of beautiful Brushy Creek here in Round Rock. I just love this spot and all of the neat aspects of it. Here are a few from yesterday…

This morning I had the pleasure of doing some maternity portraits for my friend Kristen and her family. Our sons are in school together and we met Kindergarten year. She is the one who did the wonderful portraits of my husband and I for our tenth wedding anniversary in March. She is due in just a few short weeks with a baby girl. Tuesday I met up with my old friend Karen, her husband Ray and their two precious little girls. After reconnecting recently on a social networking website, we realized that she lives just down the street from my grandparents house. Such a small world! I have known her since we were in middle school and we all three graduated high school together. This shoot was so much fun for me because I got to catch up with her and get to shoot portraits on my family’s farm land. They are an adorable family and you could defintely see the genuine love they had for their girls and each other. Thank you Karen and Ray for a wonderful session! Oh, and I hope you remembered to give Miss R her scooby-doo popsicle for being such a good sport!

Dad contacted me to get some portraits done for his wife of him and their 2 boys as a surprise for Mother’s Day. I had an awesome time with these guys….Mr. “K” and Mr. “G” were so much fun, patient and full of energy. You can’t get any cuter than these 2! I was a little worried about ruining the surprise but Dad said the hardest part of keeping it a secret will be keeping the boys from telling Mom! So here you go Dad, a few sneak peeks…I think Mom is going to love them!
